Being on the Documentary team and editing for documentaries has been a real learning experience for me. We have come across many obstacles and sometimes prevailed.

 

Like the drawing, it’s a bit of a roller coaster, you come up with an idea and from there things happen and it goes by fast and you aren’t really in control. You try to get the interviews but scheduling can be difficult. Once you do get an interview, it can go completely different than you were expecting.

 

After finally getting everyone there and getting the interview, you discover in the editing room that you may not have gotten all the footage you need to make a complete piece. However, it’s definitely a fun ride and in the end you feel good about the information you were able to attain.
