We’ve got quite a bit of exciting things going on! First of all, we can finally call ourselves a “we.” Our team used to be a lonely two people but we are happy to announce that we’ve hired two great makeup and Hair Artists to the team, the lovely Suzanne Rusell, and Melissa Capistrano. We are also excited to be in partnership with Goodwill as well!

 

Suzanne has taught cosmetology at San Mateo College, and she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She has previously worked on fashion shows, and now she is joining the film world, having gotten her first taste of film by taking Directing at CCSF.

 

Melissa also teaches cosmetology to students as far away as the Philippines! She has done makeup for lots of photo shoots and some Sci-fi films as well. She runs her own LLC and you can check out her website at www.fatalmusemelissac.com.

 

Goodwill http://sfgoodwill.org/ has joined in collaboration with Saltwater, and we are happy to announce that all of the costumes and props will be sourced from their warehouse. Goodwill’s main goal is to provide work experience and job skills for those who need it, and they certainly contribute to America’s workforce as a whole. We can’t wait to raid their warehouse!!
