Denise Bostrom - M.F.A - Writing & Consciousness, designed her first picture movie script in Kindergarten and composed a Broadway musical in 6th grade. They remain unproduced. Nonetheless, she continues to write in bliss – sheltered from the strain of fame and fortune. She writes screenplays, long-form documentaries, and educational films garnering recognition from major festivals and industry awards. She’s worked on feature films as a script supervisor with renowned directors including George Lucas, Wes Craven and Wayne Wang. She produces short films with local and national companies, consults as a script-doctor in Los Angeles, and teaches screenwriting at San Francisco State and City College. She lives in the East Bay with her chubby hubby, lap-dancing kitty and two terribly talented sons.
