I met a woman I had long admired the other day. She is a noted photographer, but had stopped taking pictures in the last few years. She told me she had changed careers and was never going to take pictures again. I asked her why, and she said she was done, that the body of work was complete and she was moving on.

I couldn't imagine what she was talking about. Panic struck me, I thought, "my body of work has only just begun!"

I have been making films for 24 years and I learn more every day; filmmaking never stops challenging me, and I have a lot more stories to tell.
